Abstract
The security of a system can be compromised by its weakest link, and one such weak link that is often overlooked is the integrity of doors. With physical access to data centers and server rooms, committed hackers have the potential to disrupt entire systems. Although
door security may seem trivial, many office spaces are vulnerable to simple attacks that do not require lockpicking. This talk explores the nuances of door security risks that can be easily exploited and ways to fix these problems, including an analysis of
the doors in this building (8 St. Mary’s St, Boston).
