Simple Hardware attacks and some prevention tips
Speaker/Bio
Anand Sanmukhani is an undergraduate Computer Engineering Major who is interested in Systems security and likes to play with hardware in his free time.
Abstract
We perform many actions every day which are so basic that we don't even think about their security. For example, every keystroke on our keyboard or a mouse click, we take their security for granted and never give it a second thought. But what if someone was able to read every key that you press or even worse just take over your keyboard?
Here we will see how the simple pieces of hardware that we don't worry about turn against us, and how we can prevent it.
