Seminar Organization
This is the agenda for the organizational part of the first seminar meeting.
- Mission
- Zoom etiquette
- Admission is from a waiting room - for "security" reasons - please e-mail Ari if you cannot get in.
- Interaction:
- This is an interactive seminar.
- Please keep your camera on during the Zoom!
- Audio should be off, unless you want to talk.
- We don't want to present to a bunch of profile pictures.
- Careful about what is in your background.
- Please interact with votes, polls, etc. during the talk.
- Questions:
- Important questions - go ahead and interrupt the speaker (after un-muting yourself).
- Don't worry - people will be happy to tell you if you are being too aggressive.
- Less important question - raise your hand and hope someone notices
- Others may interrupt on your behalf if they see that you have been waiting for a while.
- Just like to hear myself talk - please type your messages on the chat
- If the presenter is really facile, you may get a direct response.
- Others may raise your question for you if they really want an answer.
